Start with Heralds of Crimson

Havenhythe Part II released on September 28, 2026, opening the eastern side of the island with Heralds of Crimson, three main skilling activities, three Sanguine enemies and new rewards.

Heralds of Crimson continues after Secrets of Amberfell. To start it, you need that quest, 55 Herblore, 51 Crafting, 65 Mining and 60 Smithing. The activity overview here leaves the quest story spoiler-free.

Exalted Quarry: Mining and Crafting requirements

Mine the quarry's essence materials, then process them with Crafting to make regular rune essence. You can also trade the materials in for a reduced return if you prefer to skip processing.

  • Essence Lumps: 65 Mining to mine and 51 Crafting to process.
  • Essence Chunks: 85 Mining and 71 Crafting.
  • Essence Slabs: 105 Mining and 91 Crafting.

Exalted Essence for Runecrafting

You can also gather Exalted Essence in the quarry and take it to supported Runecrafting altars for a less click-intensive training method.

Colossi memories and Divination

The new colossi activity requires 77 Divination and partial completion of Heralds of Crimson. You collect memories in a Memory Stone, then return them to the matching mural.

The rewards include Divination XP, Remnant Energy and some Agility XP. There is hidden lore to find and an item that speeds up the activity. My separate Colossi guide covers the routes and rewards in more detail.

Fenmoor: choose materials and a totem separately

Fenmoor combines Woodcutting and Fletching. Petrified Roots require 65 Woodcutting, Petrified Bark requires 85 and Petrified Wood requires 105.

The totems have their own Fletching requirements: 65 for the Toad Totem, 85 for the Mollusc Totem and 105 for the Elemental Totem. Any of the three materials can be used on any totem. Better materials add more progress, while the totem you choose determines the Fletching XP.

Completing a totem gives a reward bundle. Possible rewards include the Fenshell Knife, a Fletching main-hand; the Bogolin Stick, which can become a Magic staff; and the Bogolin Sogtorch, which improves Woodcutting success with a larger boost inside Fenmoor.

The three new Sanguine creatures

Sanguine Bogolins have no Slayer requirement. Sanguine Werewolves can also be fought without a Slayer level, although receiving them as a task requires 72 Slayer. Ravenous Strigoi require 104 Slayer to fight.

The Havensilver rework removed the old damage penalty for using other weapons against creatures weak to it. Havensilver weapons deal 50% increased damage to Sanguine creatures.

How the combat and skilling rewards connect

All three new enemies can drop Crimson Ichor. Combine it with Remnant Energy from Divination to create the Sanguine Offering, Vampyre Slayer and Vital Drain Sigil Codices.

Sanguine Bogolins can also drop the Fen-Orb, which upgrades the Bogolin Earthborne Staff to tier 78. Ravenous Strigoi can drop the Nightblood Ring, a crossbow-focused Ranged ring that increases the activation chance of enchanted bolts.

The island also adds more trees, two Fishing spots, Farming patches, seeds, another Bloodwood Tree and pieces of a strange painting.
